Angela brings over 15 years of experience in family law and a master’s degree in mental health counseling to her counseling practice. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), empowering clients to identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors. Angela also employs strength-based and motivational interviewing techniques to foster resilience and motivation for positive change.

His extensive experience includes serving as an Executive Clinical Officer for large residential treatment programs and conducting forensic evaluations nationwide. His work is recognized by major organizations such as the OJJDP, AIR, and SAMHSA, underscoring his commitment to innovating community-based treatment programs. Dr. Underwood serves as a university professor, contributing significantly to the field through numerous publications, including books, treatment manuals, and journal articles.

Dr. Cyrus Williams
Dr. Williams is an expert couples counselor with over 20 years of experience, specializing in chemical and sex addictions. He is a certified Gottman Counseling Therapist and IITAP Sex Addiction Therapist, renowned for his personalized therapeutic approaches. Additionally, he is committed to the development of upcoming counselors through clinical supervision.
A leader in the field, Dr. Williams has served as president of the Virginia Counseling Association and has been a key figure in various advocacy roles. He is also a sought-after speaker and trainer on marriage counseling and addiction.
Holding a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Hartford, Dr. Williams is licensed in both Florida and Virginia. He currently serves as a full professor and the Program Director of the Counselor Education and Supervision PhD Program at Regent University, significantly impacting both teaching and research.
